Q Connected Sunday Forecast Two New Metallica Covers & EP Legends
Every Sunday night, 10 to Midnight, KLAQ brings 2 hours of the latest national releases & shining the spotlight on local rock: Q Connected.
I'm back to hosting this week & we have a brand new song by Seether, a softer version of "Wasteland" from their upcoming Purgatory EP coming out July 30th.
We also will hear not one, but TWO Metallica covers from the upcoming Metallica Blacklist, containing over 50 artists from all different types of genres, countries & backgrounds doing their own rendition of their favorite song from The Black Album. The Blacklist comes out September 10th & we're gonna hear the Scottish Prog-Metal band Biffy Clyro doing their version of "Holier Than Thou" & Latin rock artist Juanes doing HIS version of "Enter Sandman". We also new songs from Lilth Czar, Pop Evil, Devora, September Mourning, Black Stone Cherry & much more.
And of course we can't forget about the local rock. We have local legend Jim Ward (who's going on tour later this year in the fall along side the band Thrice), Kyng, Tale of Giants, Scattered Storm, State Limbo & we have new songs from Kevin Leyva, Melancholy 10, Foxy Mojo & many more local artists.
