Musician Jim Ward is heading out on tour with Thrice this fall and tickets go on sale this week. The singer and guitarist is a hometown hero, known for his time in Sparta, At The Drive-In, and Sleepercar but he's also well-known for his solo works he's released. His most recent album, Daggers was released over this month.

We recently had Jim on the Buzz Adams Morning Show to talk about his new album that dropped and his hopes for the rest of 2021. Jim explained how the country was slowly starting to open up and he was hopeful he would be able to head out on tour and play for fans again soon. Looks like he already knew then that he would be heading out on tour a lot sooner than he led us to believe.

Yesterday, Thrice announced they would be heading out on a stacked US tour with a whopping 28 dates listed. They'll be joined by Touche Amore and Self Defense Family for the tour, but there's another name that will be hopping on the tour for the Texas dates that has us excited.

Jim Ward will be joining Thrice for the following Texas tour dates:

Sept. 24 – Houston, Texas @ Warehouse*
Sept. 25 – Dallas, Texas @ Gas Monkey*
Sept. 26 – Austin, Texas @ Emos*

Tickets go onsale this Thursday, June 22nd at 12 pm local time. Members of Trhice's Alliance fan club have pre-sale access right now through the band's website. You can also find more information on specific tour dates through the Thrice website.
