Missed Q Connected? You Can Now Hear The Songs We Played on KLAQ
Every Sunday from 5-7p, KLAQ plays 2 hours of local & regional rock from El Paso, Texas & the surrounding areas; which include Las Cruces, Juarez, & the rest of the states of Texas, New Mexico & Arizona. We know there's a lot of great local rock out there & that's why we have the show every week. To show the kind of homegrown talent there is out there.
But we also know that people are busy. Sometimes you might miss an episode and miss a song or two that we'll play on the air. Now we have a playlist that includes the songs that we've played on Q Connected!
What are the requirements of sending music to be played on 95.5 KLAQ?
Now before you start sending in your stuff, there's a few things you need to know:
- The songs HAVE to be rock. Or metal. or alternative. As long as it's a rock sounding song, we'll allow it.
- The songs MUST be clean. So swearing or curse words are allowed.
- The songs have to be less than 6 minutes long; it's only a 2 hour show so we have to make sure the songs don't run TOO long.
- And of course you have to have a band that was formed in El Paso, Las Cruces, Juarez, or any of these nearby states: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. It also helps if the band is active & doing shows too.
How do I send my music to be played on Q Connected?
It's actually quite easy: just send the song, in either an MP3 or a WAV file, it to my email address; daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com.
After the song gets played on the show, it gets added to the giant Q Connected Spotify playlist of (almost) every song we've played on the show. You can check out the playlist (that's constantly growing) right here.
Make sure to tune in for Q Connected, Sundays, 5-7pm on 95.5 KLAQ.
