The El Paso industrial groove metal band Scattered Storm certainly has been busy this year; they released their first single "Kingslayer" back in May and last week, they released a new lyric video for their second single "Aeon Flux", which talks about fake friendships & being backstabbed.

Two singles later, Scattered Storm announced the release date for their upcoming 6 song EP "Oblivion" & it falls on the same date as their EP release party at the Rockhouse Dive Bar Kitchen Venue, 9828 Montana.

Scattered Storm will be releasing their EP & performing all the songs live July 9th, it's a FREE show and they won't be alone. They'll be joined alongside local metal bands Beyond Terror & The Third Edge. Scattered Storm will also be performing at The Rockhouse August 21st opening up for Flotsam & Jetsam.

The Oblivion EP drops July 9th & drummer Jay Arriaga says you can expect "a kick ass soundtrack full of killer metal riffs!".  You can hear Scattered Storm on Q Connected, Sunday nights 10pm to midnight & if you're a local artist who performs within 200 miles of El Paso, you can submit your music HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
