Every Sunday, 95.5 KLAQ brings you two hours of the latest national rock releases & we shine the spotlight on regional & local rock from the Borderlands at our NEW time slot, 5pm to 7pm with Q-Connected.

This week, we're putting the emphasis on Texas rockers including one local artist who wrote an entire song as an ode to the Sun City, Tragic Landing. Originally wrote back in 2017, the song made a reappearance on their 2022 album "Collections & Singles" & if you want to read more about Tragic Landing, you can check out the story Veronica wrote about them.

We'll also hear two bands who had new albums albums in earlier this month: Father Wolf, & Collide the Gemini.

We also got more local rock by The Sullivans, You're The Alibi, Fusebox, Little King & much more.

That's not all the Texas rock we're going to hear this week. From Austin TX, we're going to hear from a band that's making their way to El Paso on February 24th, The Well.

We'll also hear the brand new singles from Dorothy, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, the follow up single from Papa Roach & the collaboration of two artists who have never appeared on KLAQ before, Yelawolf & Shooter Jennings.

If you're a local artist & you perform in or within 200 miles of El Paso, you can send in your music to be played on the NEXT Q Connected right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com

Join me for Q Connected's new time slot, Sundays 5-7pm on 95.5 KLAQ.
