Get Adrenalized In October With Deftones Tribute Show In El Paso
If you've ever met or heard our own Veronica Gonazles on the air, then you know she is a HUGE Deftones fan. In fact she was lucky enough to interview their lead singer Chino Moreno earlier this year. So you can imagine THIS is the kind of show that she would love: A Deftones Tribute.
The Deftones have been a staple in metal music since the 90s & have racked up a TON of hits like "My Own Summer", "Minerva", "Be Quiet & Drive Away" & of course... "Change (In the House of Flies)".
Since the Deftones have been around for over 30 years, it's not surprisingly that some fans love them so much, they had to show their appreciation & formed a tribute band FOR the Deftones:
- Eddie Chabre - Vocals/Guitars
- Gonzo Gonzalez - Guitars
- Manny Martínez - Drums
- Allan Martínez (also from the band As the City Sleeps) - Bass/Backing Vocals. All formed the "Adrenaline: A Tribute to Deftones".
They've been around for a couple of years, playing various places in El Paso & they've been especially active in 2021, going back on stage with another tribute band, Whiskey Hangover - Godsmack Tribute. They got another show lined up for this year, coming up in October.
Adrenaline: A Tribute to Deftones will be performing Friday, October 15th at the Rockhouse Dive Bar Kitchen & Venue, 9828 Montana. The tickets are $10 at the door & the show starts at 9pm.
So if you do go out to the show, you might just catch Veronica there showing off her love for the Deftones.
