Old Friends From Ashes To New Coming Back To El Paso’s Rockhouse
As we get deeper in the year, more bands have announced new tours for 2022. One band in particular is a band KLAQ is very familiar with: From Ashes to New.
We're definitely familiar with From Ashes To New: they opened up for Papa Roach at Speaking Rock the last time they were on tour back in 2018. Some lucky fans were able to get photos taken with the band before the show & they even gave us a signed drum head.
I was actually there at the show & it was my first time seeing FATN. I was blown away by their power & raw energy they brought on the stage. They only played 7 songs but you know they played well when the crowd wanted more.
Anyone who's familiar with FATN compares their sound to Linkin Park, saying their rapping/singing reminds them very much of the energy Chester Bennington & Mike Shinoda had. If you've listen to some of their big hits & their Linkin Park covers, you can see what they mean:
Unfortunately From Ashes to New couldn't go on tour because of...well obvious reasons. But they DID keep busy writing new material. They recorded not one, not two, but THREE Volumes of their Quarantine Chronicles in 2021:
