There are so many talented musicians in El Paso & many don't just stick to one band. Most musicians go on to form multiple projects, but not many musicians do it for over 25 years... but Cesar Soto has & he's back with a new project for 2021: Man the Mute.

Cesar Soto has been in COUNTLESS bands including (but not limited to) Tides of Titan, Years of Cold & of course the big one... Ministry. Just like many musicians from El Paso, when shows were put on hold, Cesar kept busy in the studio, writing new material. Cesar started his new project, Man the Mute, last year in April & released the first song a year later called "Give Em Hell" and a second song (along with the video) on Friday, "Blotter".

When asking Cesar was the meaning behind "Blotter", he said the song is all about "finally finding yourself & your purpose in life. It's about having two paths in life and not knowing which one the universe has put in place for you". The video was directed by Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films.

Give Em Hell & Blotter are available on all music streaming platforms & you can hear Man the Mute on Q Connected, Sunday nights at 10pm to midnight MST. If you're a local artist, you perform within 200 miles of El Paso, & want to submit your music FOR the show, you can right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
