Brett Hellings Came To El Paso To Record With Famous Musicians
Earlier this week I wrote an article about Kenny Aronoff recording at Sonic Ranch & now... we know EXACTLY why he was here & who he was recording with.

That photo clearly shows Kenny alongside a TON of other amazing musicians including:
- Billy Sheehan - played bass for Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, UFO, Sons of Apollo, The Winery Dogs
- Buck Johnson - played keyboards, backup vocalist & acoustic guitar for Aerosmith, The Hollywood Vampires, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry.
- Richard Fortus - played guitar for Guns 'N' Roses since 2002, also played for The Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love, Thin Lizzy & Rihanna
- & Tommy Henriksen - played guitar for The Hollywood Vampires & Alice Cooper.
That's definitely a star studded lineup but there's one more guy in the photo that I DIDN'T mention. His name is Brett Hellings.
Brett flew all the way from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to record HERE at Sonic Ranch & and if you need EVEN MORE proof that he's the main guy, he posted about coming to El Paso to record his first album on his website. He went on to state that he's been working with producer Rob Fraboni, who's worked with many classic artists like The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, The Band, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt & Bob Dylan. You can even see more photos from Sonic Ranch of the Hellhounds right here.
With THIS amount of star power all coming down to record at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, that makes me happy & confident that we'll get even more amazing artists to record in the Borderland.
