Another "worst of" poll was recently done and, for once, we didn't win.

When it comes to "best and worst" lists, El Paso has had ups like best place to raise a family and downs like city that loses the most residents. A list of the least healthy cities in each state is out now and, for Texas, it wasn't us!

Odessa was the Texas champ. As for our northern neighbor, New Mexico, Farmington won the title. The report ranked each city based on:

overall health outcomes, including length and quality of life. Also considered in the index are a range of factors that influence these outcomes, including healthy behaviors, clinical care, social and economic indicators, and physical environment.

The low number of citizens with health insurance and the large number who said they were in only fair or poor health played a part in Odessa's "win." See who clinched the other 48 states.
