Big love for a hotel in downtown El Paso rightfully being recognized as the best one in El Paso and among the best in the United States of America.

U.S. News & World Report looked at over 30,000 hotels to find the best ones in the USA and other countries like Europe, Canada, Mexico and Bermuda.

The historic Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park, downtown, got the nod as El Chuco's finest.

It was one of the first Hilton Hotels, built by Conrad Hilton himself.
During his (super short) marriage to actress Elizabeth Taylor, the newlyweds lived in the Plaza, occupying the penthouse suite.
From its opening in 1930 until around 1960, at 19 stories, it was the tallest building in El Paso.
Between 2019 and 2020, El Pasoan Paul Foster spent $78 million completely renovating the hotel which had been vacant for decades.
