One of the most popular dog breeds, and an El Paso icon, it turns out is also one of the dumbest ones.

A panel of experts ... defined as such by spilleddaily.com ... got together and came up with a list of the overall dumbest dog breeds of them all and the #13 spot went to a beloved El Paso perro.

You have probably already figured out where this is going as the dog breed in question is hugely popular in the 915. HUGE HINT: 2 of El Paso's favorite things and one iconic location are named after this guy.

He's not very big, and neither is his IQ apparently, but we love the little guy ... folks, meet the Chihuahua.
