Summer Kids Camp Movies Are Back at Alamo Drafthouse in East and West El Paso
Summer Kids Camp is back at Alamo Drafthouse.
If you're looking for a fun, low-cost way to keep the kids entertained over the summer, and beat the El Paso heat at the same time, Summer Kids Camp at Alamo Drafthouse is one option.
The movie series is an affordable way for families to watch a mix of new favorites and classic kid-friendly movies together all summer long. Each movie will be screened for several days beginning on a Friday.
Summer Kids Camp will run concurrently through August at the west side Montecillo location, and Alamo Drafthouse East.
Alamo East
The east side location at the intersection of Pellicano and Joe Battle opened in March of 2021.
It's a 10-screen theater featuring all luxury reclines, including one which they've fittingly dubbed The Big Show because it's tricked out with a 60-foot high screen, surround sound, and 4K laser projection.
The lobby area highlights luchadores in a Lucha Libre theme with Mexican wrestler posters, masks, and artwork prominently featured on its walls.
New Luxury Seating on the West Side
Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo on N. Mesa is currently in the process of retro-fitting all eight of the auditoriums with new luxury recliner seating and front of the theater sofa seats.
Check out how comfy the theaters that have already been completed look. Movie you're watching not grab you? No problem, just slide down and take a nap.
