It's my favorite time of year and everyone is not getting into the spirit of it! The weather is getting a little chillier and the days are about to get shorter- that's right, it's spooky season and I'm so excited to see that my favorite movie theater- Alamo Drathouse- will be showing some great horror movies this October!

This October, Alamo Drafthouse will be bringing the chills and thrills with 11 of my favorite scary movies. If scary movies aren't your thing, don't worry- Alamo Drafthouse will still be showing new releases and some of your favorites that aren't so scary. You can check out a full calendar of releases- and purchase tickets- here.

Alamo Drafthouse will kick off Halloween season with the 1987 original teen vampire flick "The Lost Boys" and will wrap up the Halloween season with a very special brunch presentation of "Scream" and of course, the movie that started it all in 1978- "Halloween" starring scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis.

  • The Exorcist
