Every Sunday afternoon from 5 to 7pm, 95.5 KLAQ brings you two hours of the latest national rock releases & we shine the spotlight on music from El Paso & around the Borderland: Q-Connected.

This week it's all about variety. It'll be a smorgasbord of rock with the sounds of metal: Steellake & Scattered Storm will be rocking the show before they rock out with Static X when they roll into town.

We got Rock 'n' Rollers American Sellout making their debut on Q Connected. You might recognize this band as they contains former members of Crash,

we'll hear some Alt-rock with Foxy Mojo,

some dark Americana from Damian Wyldes, who recently won at the 2022 ISSA Awards in Atlanta this month,

and we'll hear a double shot of The Mars Volta in honor of their new album dropping next month. And many more locals for this week.

The variety doesn't stop on the local side either; it's a spectrum of new rock too. As well hear a new song from metal legends Slipknot, who will have a new album dropping September 30th called The End, So Far.

International superstars Muse, someone who has YET to visit El Paso but they're not alone...

an alternative rock legend Jack White,

classic rock legends Jackyl who are celebrating 30 years of rocking this Friday & many more.

If you're an artist from El Paso, or perform within 200 miles of El Paso, you can send in your music to be featured on the NEXT Q Connected right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com.

Plenty of Babes and Bikinis At the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

KLAQ had a man on the ground at Sturgis who sent us daily photo updates and it looks like the pandemic hasn't stopped many the people from partying.

Check out the photos below and imagine you're right there in the middle of all the action.

Well, maybe not the spitting contest, unless you're into that sort of thing.
