Halloween Planning Begins on New What the Buzz Episode

Emily and I are back with a new episode of "What the Buzz" - the podcast where Emily and I tell you everything you won't hear on the air.

This new episode titled "We Like Scary Movies" is available on the free KLAQ Mobile app and on the KLAQ website, and really anywhere where you get your podcasts. As the episode suggests, we like scary movies and we are already in the planning stages of Halloween.

We are a little less than halfway to Halloween, and by our clocks, it's time to start planning for our favorite time of year! Not too long ago, Emily came to me and said that we needed to start brainstorming for our Halloween events at the station.

As usual, we are always working on our Halloween parade and our haunted house, but this year Emily and I want to create a new event and my mind immediately went to "I Like Scary Movies"- the event!

I Like Scary Movies was an interactive art installation and Emily and I believe that something like that would be great here in El Paso. The art installation had a Nightmare on Elm Street Room.

A Beetlejuice room.

An IT room.

And a The Shining room.

In these rooms, you're free to take all the selfies you want!

A few years Emily got to go to the exhibit and got some really great pictures. We're hoping that we can create something like this for El Paso- along with some local artists- and create a great Halloween event for everyone to enjoy!
