Fun, Outdoor Things To Do In El Paso As Spring Approaches

Winter is on its way out so, put the phone down, turn off the games and head outside.

There is a lot to do outdoors in the El Paso area. We have a ton of mountain bike trails and miles and miles of desert just perfect for off-roading, (click here for some off-road truck trails), and dirt bike riding. (Click here for dirt bike trails in Texas.)

We all also have lots of hiking trails all over the Borderland. There are several "groups" on Facebook dedicated to hiking, like this one. There are also some beautiful roads and highways perfect for motorcycle day trips like these:

• The Mountain
• Fort Seldon
• Cloudcroft
• Fort Davis
• Old Mesilla

If you're not feeling energetic enough to hike or manhandle a motorcycle, you can also just wander around places like Old Mesilla, the Farmers Market, the Licon Dairy or visit the El Paso Zoo. There is a lot more to do around here and the weather will soon be perfect for all of it.
