Great El Paso Motorcycle Rides & Cool Places

Now that Spring has begun, here's another great area motorcycle ride you can take. Ride, or drive ... whichever ... to Fort Davis.

This one is farther than the other routes I've recommended, and would most likely require an overnight stay. The ride/drive up takes about 3.5 hours and, honestly, is kinda boring. You just take I-10 east to Van Horn, then hop on to US 90.

Once you're there though, the fun ride starts as you roll through some beautiful country and visit sooooo many cool places like historic Fort Davis, the McDonald Observatory or Davis Mountains State Park. Then:

Get back on US 90 and follow it to Big Bend National Park.
Or, if it's the last weekend in October, take 118 N to Terlingua and have some chili.
Another fun ride is along 17-S over to Marfa. There, you'll find a cool art scene and the legendary, still unexplained, Marfa lights,
