Every Sunday, 95.5 KLAQ brings you a weekly dose of the latest national releases & we shine the spotlight on great rock from El Paso, Texas & across the Borderland. We call this weekly block: Q Connected.

Usually we have the show between 5-7pm, but because the Cowboys will have their next playoff game against the 49ers, we're moving the show earlier on Sunday. MUCH earlier; Sunday morning 7-10am. This week it's a special 3 HOUR show & we're going to hear the local bands who will have big opportunities playing for national acts this week.

It'll be a double concert preview. First we'll hear the 3 bands opening up for Hail the Sun this month: Including Laserbrain,

Collide the Gemini,

Father Wolf.

We also will feature the bands who will be opening up for Memphis May Fire in February;

Glorious,

Steellake,

& Circa Arcana.

We'll also have Sparta, The Mars Volta, Cigarettes After Sex, Tragic Landing & many more locals for this weekend.

We'll also hear some Texas bands that are ones to watch out this year including Austin's Empty Trail,

San Antonio's Kingdom Collapse,

Longview's Post Profit & many more.

If you're a local artist from El Paso, a regional artist from Texas or New Mexico, or you perform within 200 miles of El Paso, you can send your tunes for the next Q Connected right here. You can also send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com

Join me for a special 3 hour Q Connected, this Sunday morning 7-10am on 95.5 KLAQ.
