Earlier this morning people were at the Walmart memorial site transferring items to a temporary place. If you were planning on paying a visit again to the previous memorial site, you will be re-directed. If you would like to leave something from today forward you will be able to at Ponder Park. They transferred all the items from the memorial site by Walmart to Ponder Park. It took a big crew from the City of El Paso to transfer the items right across the street.

The victim's families were notified about the move so that they could choose what they wanted to keep. The new memorial site at Ponder Park doesn't seem as loaded as it did beside Walmart and Hooters. They're saying if you would like to take something to the temporary memorial site you're more than welcome to. It is unknown if the road where the memorial site originally was will be open for drivers.
