Looking Back & Uncovering More KLAQ TV Commercials From Long Ago

I love discovering relics of the past & KLAQ has plenty of relics that we love discovering again & bringing back for people to look at. Last year Veronica wrote about how excited she was to discover an old 1991 KLAQ TV commercial.

Well I'm happy to say, there's more commercials that are uploaded for your viewing pleasure. In fact there's another one from the 90s I discovered, when KLAQ was helping promote the Smashing Pumpkins concert back in 1994. To date that is the ONLY time Smashing Pumpkins have been to El Paso.

But what about some official KLAQ commercials? Thankfully we have plenty of those as well. Years ago we used to hold the Locofest & we used to promote them yearly. There's a few that users have thankfully uploaded onto YouTube. Like of the 2007 Locofest, the very 1st one,

and one for the 2010 Locofest.

That wasn't the only festival we had tv spots for, as there exists commercials for both The KLAQ Balloonfest & The Downtown Streetfest.

Another event we used to as the KLAQ BBQ A Taste of El Paso. We have some of the posters on our walls & there was a commercial for the 2009 KLAQ BBQ.

And we definitely can't forget the many tv commercials we've done for some of the various KLAQ Haunted Houses in the past:

We still have commercials playing on television but I always love finding commercials like these from years ago. Maybe we'll find more as time goes on, or people will upload even more gems of the past.
