Every Sunday from 5-7pm, 95.5 KLAQ brings you two hours of the latest national releases & we shine the spotlight on local rock from El Paso & around the Borderland: Q Connected.

After following the announcement of El Paso's own Sparta releasing a new album in October, Jim Ward was nice enough to let us use not one...

but BOTH recently released songs on the show. So that's exactly what we'll do this week.

We have many more great locals too: including a new song from The Men From Mars hailing from our brothers in New Mexico: Las Cruces,

Brother Strange is back on the show but they have a new name & we'll hear their first single this Sunday. We have a new single from the indie rock band As Hope, El Paso legends Radio La Chusma will be blasted out on Sunday's show, after they have their 20th anniversary show happening this Saturday & many more.

We also have both Starset & Breaking Benjamin's love for sci-fi in their collaboration of "Waiting For The Song To Change". The song was originally written by both Dustin Bates & Ron DeChant of Starset & Breaking Benjamin's Jasen Rauch in an band they formed called Downplay. You'll hear the NEW version on Sunday but you can check out the original version down below:

If you're an artist from El Paso or perform within 200 miles of El Paso, you can send in your music for the next Q Connected right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
