El Paso Legends Sparta Announce Porcelain 20th Anniversary Tour

Sparta is and always will be a legendary rock band from El Paso, Texas. On July 13, 2004, the band released their 2nd album, Porcelain & we've talked about this album's legacy before. We know that Jim Ward played a few songs during Cool Canyon Nights in 2024. However he's gonna play MORE live shows this year; this time celebrating the 20th anniversary release of Porcelain.

When will Sparta be going on tour in 2024?

The band teased an announcement Wednesday night on Instagram with a post that was a blank black square that said "11a CST". The next day, the band announced on their Instagram page this afternoon, August 29th, all of the tour tours listed for their Porcelain 2024 tour. A total of 17 cities will be on this string of dates in the Fall.

The band will start their tour on October 4th in Denver Colorado and will be going all the way until November 29th when they will wrap up the tour right here in El Paso, Texas at the 11:11 Club, 9740 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79924.

There are some additional dates in Texas including Austin on November 8th & Dallas on November 9th.

This is the 2nd anniversary Sparta concert will celebrate in El Paso; the band celebrated 20 years of Wiretap Scars at the Sun City Bar & Events Center.

I know Breaking the Broken & Lines in Sand were played for us here in El Paso earlier as a mini celebration; now we can hear the entire album live from start to finish later in November.
