She "got her motor runnin', (and her blood pumpin'), and now she's ready to truly go "racin' with the wind" thanks to her act of kindness.

All we know about her is that her name is Monica and a simple blood donation just planted her on a pretty sweet Harley Davidson Street Bob.

The 36th bi-annual blood drive held by Vitalant took place last weekend at Barnett Harley Davidson and, as usual, donors had a shot at winning prizes, including a Harley.

The Barnett Harley-Davidson Bi-Annual Drive partners with Vitalant to help bolster blood supply in the borderland. It came at an urgent time for health providers as the borderland has seen a shortage in blood supply, as it usually does this time of year. Still, the event managed to bring many El Pasoans out to donate, adding to the event's sizable cumulative contributions. - KVIA

Barnett Harley Davidson has supported these events and provided loads of prizes, including motorcycles, for 18 years and have raised just under 33,000 units of blood according to Mark Barnett.

That's the bike Monica won and I know she's going to be happy riding it around 'cuz it's the exact same model Harley Davidson that I own so, I'm very familiar with it.

I've been riding since I was about 13 or so and have had my 2009 Street Bob since 2011. It's seen some miles all over El Paso and elsewhere.

Here's a pic of mine ...
