I've had a few days to reflect on First Lady Melania Trump's jacket that she wore to find out about child detention camps in Texas. It was the jacket that said, "I Don't Really Care. Do U?" on the back.

I don't know what to make of this. On the one hand, I can't see Melania wearing such a message intentionally. If anybody in the Trump White House actually cares about scared immigrant children, it's probably Melania. I also have a hard time believing that Melania Trump ever just "throws something on" without thinking her choice through very carefully.

The alternate that I'm left with is that Melania WAS sending a message but it wasn't directed toward immigrants or that it was in answer to any question about immigration. I think maybe it was an answer to a different question. A question that we've all been challenged to figure out.

Well, Mrs. Trump, challenge accepted! I want to put these forward as possibilities. So, for each one of these imagine that Melania Trump's answer is "I Don't Really Care...Do U?"

"Hey, Melania, what do you really think about your husband having unprotected sex with a porn star three weeks after your son was born?"

"Melania, do you ever worry that Donald may be more attractive to his daughter than he is to you?"

ANSWER: IDRCDU

"Melania, what are you going to say the next time someone tries to convince you that you should stay married AT LEAST until your husband is impeached?"

ANSWER: IDRCDU

"Melania, it's looking more and more likely that Donald may actually face prison time. Technically, not a question so...what are your thoughts on that?

ANSWER: IDRCDU

Yeah, so, I think everyone speculating over whether Mel T.'s jacket reflected her views on children separated from their parents are just not using their imaginations enough. I think there's an entire GALAXY of things that Melania might be feeling world-weary and beyond the point of caring about anymore.
