Will ICE Really Raid School Busses And Deport Illegal Students?
A Texas school district warned parents that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents may board busses to detain and/or deport students here illegally. Will they?
The notices were sent to parents of kids in the Alice Independent School District. The notices said ICE agents would/could board school busses off campus to check for students in the USA illegally and detain and/or deport them.
This coming shortly after a high school teacher was barred from campus after asking ICE to raid his classroom and another, (different school), was fired after she did the same thing.
Wow, the misinformation out there these days is crazy. Social media posts have also been going around saying that ICE will pay $750 to peeps who turn in illegal aliens. (That one is total BS.)

We have received information that U.S. Border Patrol agents may be boarding school buses at highway checkpoints in and out of the Valley to question students about their citizenship status." - Newsweek
Will ICE Agents Really Pull Children Off School Busses?
This one, it turns out, is also complete BS. I'm not sure where the AISD got their info but the notice was taken off their Facebook page and website.
In an interview Thursday morning, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks dismissed the claim as “absurd” and clarified that agents would not board school buses to check students' papers. - kgns.tv
KGNS reported unidentified school officials said an unidentified Border Patrol agent told them that "everyone" was subject to inspection at a checkpoint. That is true, as far as I know, but why would a public school bus be going through an immigration checkpoint?
