There are a lot of people wishing they had gone to see Van Halen 39 years ago here in El Paso. As for me, I'm not beating myself up about it since I wasn't even born yet when they came to El Paso, Texas. But there are a lot of other people who are really wishing they had bought those tickets 39 years ago. But for those who were able to buy a ticket and attend feel like the luckiest person ever. I also believe they're lucky for being able to see not just the whole band but the rock legend and guitar god, Eddie Van Halen. But on Tuesday, October 6, heaven gained a rock angel that left our hearts heavy. Everyone's newsfeed on every social media account status was in honor of the rock n' roll legend.

I was scrolling through my newsfeed when I came across my friend's post about Van Halen performing in El Paso. It was October 7, 1981, when Van Halen performed at the El Paso County Coliseum. Those who attended that past time show are probably reminiscing about that night. Well, after coming across my friend's post about Van Halen I had to check it out for myself. It took me to The Mighty Van Halen Page that lists a ton of old shows from the past where El Paso, Texas was also listed. You're in for a big surprise when you click on the El Paso, Texas concert for The Fair Warning Tour in 1981. You can hear the last known recorded bootleg from that night's show.
