Tough Prison Cholo Shows You His Sweet Creative Side

This cholo went from being a tough guy behind bars to a guy version of Martha Stewart! He learned a few tricks of the trade to show his family some love while serving time.

When you serve time in prison, you're limited on ways of showing your loved ones you care. This particular guy said he learned this DIY project from another inmate while doing time. He said you can use any type of hard candy but he prefers and recommends using Jolly Ranchers. The key items he lists for this project are elote sticks, bowl of hot water, spatula, a cup, ribbons and wrappers. He says once you pull the hard candy out, you have to quickly form the rose petals and place on the stick. The best thing he learned behind bars was showing his love in a inexpensive way.
