Texas has some truly unique vending machines; we've talked about how you can literally buy ammunition in vending machines along with your snacks and drinks. However we love to make our vending machines big. And we mean...BIG.

Dallas, Texas is home to this giant Skittles vending machine

I know what you're thinking; "Skittles in a vending machine? That's not that exciting". Normally you'd be right. But if you travel to the Bolder Adventure Park in Grand Prairie, Texas (just outside of Dallas), someone must've said that they REALLY love Skittles because this is home to possibly the BIGGEST vending machine dedicated to the colorful candy.

This vending machine comes with dispensers of the 5 classic flavors (strawberry, orange, lime, lemon & grape), as well as the entire original flavor mix, the wild berry mix & even the mash-up mix. You choose the flavors that you want, & the Skittles are released into the cup you leave at the bottom.

You can see this vending machine in action in this video posted by The Texas Family:

This does indeed look very cool. But the only thing I wish this came up with is the ability to perfect the individual flavors from the Wild Berry mix. If there's one that DOES that, it'll be perfect (in my opinion of course).

You can get pecan pies at this Texas vending machine

If you're trying to find a pie & you happen to be in Bastrop County, you'll want to stop at the Berdoll Pecan Candy & Gift Shop on 2626 State Hwy 71. This is home to the ONLY vending machine that you can literally get a full-sized pecan pie (and it's open 24/7).

Pecan pie is cool but if they start selling apple pies, I think I'd plan an annual trip out there just for pies.

Some other vending machines to satisfy your cravings for sweets that're worth mentioning include:

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get some sweets.
