First, let me get this out of the way. If you've come here, you probably know that above the fire station in Disneyland is an apartment. But this IS NOT the house that I'm talking about. But just in case, here is a video about the apartment.

The house that I'm talking about is over in Adventureland, and it was just random happenstance that presented this house to me.

It was my first trip to Disneyland with my now wife and kid. The kid was only 5 at the time, so she wasn't riding any of the big rides. As my wife went to go ride Indiana Jones, I was waiting out front, across from the Bengal Barbecue.

As I'm sitting there a couple walks up and keeps looking past me to a tree right behind me. They asked if they could take a picture of the tree right behind. I obliged, but asked them why. They told me there was a house in the base of the tree. Low and behold, there is was. A little house build in the base of this tree.

So I wondered, what in the world could this house be for? It's Disney. It has to have a back story. It is apparently the home of The Little Man of Disneyland. It comes from a book that was published all the way back in 1955. You can find the book over on ebay.com if you'd like.
