Evil Dead

The internet has been going crazy recently, since the Evil Dead remake was made, about the next Army of Darkness movie coming out soon.  There have been stories of Sam Raimi already working on it, Bruce Campbell slipping some info out there…but in the words of Bruce himself: It's all internet BS.

I got the chance to go to the movie this weekend, late at night, as you should for a scary movie. As a fan of the originals, heck I still have the bound-in-fake-human-skin edition on DVD, I really think this movie is fantastic! There's a reason it's number one at the box office for this weekend.

I love the originals. I love the remake. This franchise is just amazing.

A horror movie without CG effects seems impossible these days but the Evil Dead remake promises to disturb you with only prosthetics, make-up and magic tricks. Groovy!

The movies that made Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi cult heroes, the Evil Dead series combines camp, schlock and horror into a fast-paced, impossible-to-stop-watching series of films. Yes, the first two movies were basically the same film, but watching both is still a really good time!
