Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo in West El Paso is showing some movie love to all El Paso teachers for educating our future during the school year.

As a way of saying thank you to school teachers of all grade levels, as well as faculty and staff, and university and college professors, the Alamo is bringing back "Teacher Appreciation Days".

Beginning June 19 and every Wednesday thereafter through the end of August, educators in and around El Paso and all school staff are being treated to a free matinee showing of the movie of their choice. That includes all current and "coming soon" blockbusters with only a couple of exceptions listed below.

All teachers and school employees need to watch a flick for free is to show a current school ID from their place of employment or some other proof of employment at the box office on movie day, according to a post on the theater website. Homeschooling parents can get in on it too with documentation that shows they are a teacher.
