These Texas Contestants Have Been Dominating On The Squid Game
If you've been watching the new Squid Game show on Netflix, Squid Game: The Challenge, there have been a few contestants from Texas that have been doing very well on the show. One contestant from Houston, Texas & one from El Paso, Texas.
TJ (#182)
TJ, #182, instantly became a fan favorite in Episode 3 when TJ was the captain for the Warship challenge & lead his team to victory; not a SINGLE SHIP was destroyed & every single member of his team was saved from elimination that round.
TJ was born in The Bronx, but he currently lives in El Paso, Texas along with his wife & two children.
TJ's real name is Timothy Stukes who, along with his wife Samantha, is the Basketball Operations Advisor for the Southwest Desert Hoops in El Paso, Texas. He's a former basketball player for the Harlem Wizards & his experience in coaching has greatly helped him in the competition.
Chaney (#179)
Another Texas contestant is Chaney, aka #179. Chaney, whose real name is Charlise Chaney, is a math teacher at her home in Houston, Texas: she's an Algebra I Team Lead in the Alief Independent School District. We became introduced to her on the show in Episode 4.
Chaney even uploaded a video on YouTube that showed her journey leading up to her appearance on Squid Game: The Challenge.
