Lots of Love From El Paso For Texas Independence Day This Sunday
Every Sunday afternoon from 5 to 7pm, KLAQ gives you your weekly dose of the latest national rock releases & we shine the spotlight on plenty of rock from El Paso & around the Borderland: Q-Connected
This week is the week of Texas Independence Day so we're putting emphasis on Texas rock so you'll hear tons of rock from right here in El Paso: Kicking off the show is our very own Jim Ward (from At the Drive-In & Sparta)
We'll also hear some of the biggest & loudest rockers from the Sun City like the P. Razors who have been keeping the memories of fellow Texans Dimebag Darrell & Vinnie Paul alive.
And it wouldn't be a Texas Independence Day show without a song dedicated TO El Paso including a song named after one of the streets in El Paso.
We'll also hear from Emily Davis & The Murder Police, The Dead Electrics, The 1-800 & much more.
Continuing with the love for Texas, we'll hear from Giovannie & The Hired Guns from Stephenville,
And Denton's Memphis May Fire
We'll also hear the newest single from Dirty Honey, Underoath, The Violet paying respects to The Doors as well as a special Metallica cover performed by Ghost (who's going to rock the Don Haskins this Monday & you can still get your tickets at Ticketmaster)
If you're an artist from El Paso, or performs within 200 miles of El Paso, you can submit your music for the NEXT Q-Connected right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
Join me every Sunday afternoon, 5-7pm for Q-Connected on 95.5 KLAQ.
