When Sunday afternoons roll around, 95.5 KLAQ brings you two hours of the latest national rock releases & we shine the spotlight on local rock from El Paso and around the Borderland: we call this 2 hour block... Q-Connected

After ANOTHER 2 week break from Cowboys games, we are BACK with the show! And we have some local artists who are truly making names for themselves in 2022:

Like El Paso's Scattered Storm (who are signed onto the metal label Nuclear Blast Records). They have a new EP releasing on November 11th called "In This Dying Sun".

The 1-800 who have become HUGE viral stars thanks to TikTok,

Cigarettes After Sex. I mean they're already a HUGE name to come out of El Paso but they're making their presence still known in 2022. Greg has been busy making music for other artists but we'll hear his work with CAS on Sunday

Las Cruces's Rivers Ventura is back with a new song & we'll hear it this week. You can hear a song from his previous album, Pipe Dream, below.

We also have the newest single from a Texas band that's worth getting to know (you can plenty more here), Austin's Empty Trail. You can see another song that's been taking off in 2022, World Split In Two, down below.

We'll kick off the show with the Rival Sons, their new album "Darkfighter" drops next year, March 10, 2023.

If you're an artist from El Paso, you perform within 200 miles of El Paso & you want to send your music for the show; you can send your music right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com

Join me Sunday afternoons, 5-7pm, for Q Connected.
