Pick Your Favorite Rock Band That Originated In El Paso

There are a few great rock bands that originated right here in El Paso, Texas! I am a big fan of all three bands but do favor one more than the others. The crazy thing is I haven't seen my favorite of the three live in concert yet. But that will be changing soon since they will be performing a benefit concert! Yes, my favorite of the three happens to be Sparta and looking forward to seeing them for the first time. Sparta's benefit concert want to raise funds for the El Paso Community Foundation. The benefit concert will be on Tuesday, November 20, on Oregon Street right next to San Jacinto Plaza. The show will begin at 7 pm and a donation of $10 will guarantee you access. Another band I have not had the chance to see in concert is Mars Volta. People who have seen them always compliment how this is a must see band! But one El Paso band I have seen perform is At The Drive-In and really enjoyed their show. Besides crushing on Cedric Bixler-Zavala's deep blue sea eyes, his vocals are outstanding.
