Inflation is insane right now, y'all. Milk is up. Bread is up. The only thing that I know that has remained the same is rotisserie chicken!

You know what we could really use right now? Those old Coca-Cola cans that had the discount for Western Playland.

Do you remember how the Coke cans had a discount for Western Playland? You could save like $4 if you took the can to Western Playland!

Can you believe I found the picture of that can (that is from the 2004 season) on eBay? The can was already won and the winning bid was $3.50! Someone paid $3.50 for this empty can that had the Western Playland discount! Insane, right?

However, I also remember that the Coke cans had a discount for another fun attraction we have here in the Sun City: Wet N Wild! I searched around and found this relic!

This one comes straight from the Can Museum website (who knew this existed?) and it was for the 1994 season! This one isn't for sale or anything, the Can Museum is mainly for posterity.

Do you remember collecting these cans with the hope that you'd visit Western Playland soon and get a discount? I do! Although, I also remember collecting the cans and then forgetting to actually take the can when we would go to Western Playland!

I have no idea why this stopped being a thing; and okay, it's not that expensive to go to Western Playland, a P.O.P. (Pay One Price Bracelet) is $27.65- but with the can it would be $23.65! It makes a difference! RIP Coca-Cola Western Playland/Wet N Wild discount cans- I didn't appreciate you enough when we had you!
