El Paso is full of incredibly talented musicians; the Borderland is full of people who love to play music ranging from every age group imaginable. When there comes an opportunity to learn from a master, any musician would love that opportunity. Those who love drumming would love to learn from a master & you'll have that chance in March.

Dream Theater's Mike Mangini will be teaching a class in El Paso

Dream Theater needs no introduction & neither does Mike Mangini. Mike Mangini held the world record for being one of the fastest drummers in 2005 & has worked with several huge names in the world of rock including Steve Vai, Extreme & of course with his friends James LaBrie & John Petrucci in Dream Theater from 2010-2023.

We've seen Mike perform quite a few times in El Paso with Dream Theater at the Abraham Chavez Theater; once in 2012 and in 2019.

Mike Mangini will be returning to El Paso once again, but this time in a more quieter setting. He will be teaching a masterclass on March 1 from 4-7pm for a maximum of 20 students at the Let There Be Rock music school at their west side location, 3945 Doniphan Park Cir, Ste C.

According to the Pepe Clark Magaña, who runs the Let There Be Rock music school, the class is open to all musical students of all skill levels (you also don't have to be a drummer to learn from Mike) & anyone who attends must bring a practice pad as well as a pad with a pedal.

Mike was also nice enough to send those who are interested to learning this very encouraging message...

That's right; there will be a Q&A afterwards so if you have any questions for Mike, feel free to ask away! If you have any questions, you can call Let There Be Rock at 915-307-4883 or find them on Facebook & Instagram.
