La Union Maze Is Back for Another Amazing Fall Season
It may still feel like summer outside, but I have some very important evidence that fall is, in fact, on the way.
La Union Maze is getting ready to open!
For plenty of us in the Borderland, fall means pumpkins, corn mazes and trying to convince ourselves that a 70-degree afternoon is basically sweater weather. And now we officially know when one of our local fall traditions will be back for another season.
La Union Maze Opens September 26 for the 2026 Season
Mark the calendar because La Union Maze officially opens for its fall season on Saturday, September 26.
The maze will be open Saturdays and Sundays through November 8, giving us several weekends to get lost in some corn, pick out a pumpkin and fully embrace fall!
La Union Maze is located in La Union, New Mexico, just a short drive from El Paso- which is totally worth it!

There's Plenty More Than a Corn Maze
Of course, the giant corn maze is the main attraction, but there's a lot more happening once you're inside.
La Union Maze also brings back plenty of its familiar fall activities, including the pumpkin patch, wagon rides, pig races, jumping pillows, slides, pedal cars and farm animals.
And once October rolls around, things get a little spookier. The Haunted Maze returns on select Friday and Saturday nights for anyone who thinks getting lost in a corn maze wasn't stressful enough already.

This Year's Maze Celebrates New Mexico
Every year, part of the fun is seeing what La Union Maze has created with those 13 acres of corn.
For 2026, the maze is celebrating New Mexico agriculture, paying tribute to the farmers, ranchers, crops, traditions and communities that are such a big part of the state.
The design also celebrates America's 250th anniversary, with “250” incorporated into the maze alongside some very New Mexico imagery.
And really, the return of La Union Maze is one of those little signs that spooky season is officially getting closer.
The temperatures may not always cooperate around here, but we've got pumpkins, a giant corn maze and the possibility of getting hopelessly lost among 13 acres of corn.
I'll take it!
