El Paso has a festival dedicated entirely to wine and food, and if that sounds like your kind of weekend, you might want to clear some room on your November calendar!

The 13th annual El Paso Wine & Food Festival is returning with two days of sipping, sampling, and celebrating some seriously good food. And when I say there's going to be wine, I mean there will be more than 400 wines from around the world to explore!

Whether you're someone who knows their way around a wine list or just enjoys a good glass of red with dinner, this sounds like a pretty fun excuse to get out of the house.

When and Where Is the 2026 El Paso Wine Fest?

The 13th annual El Paso Wine & Food Festival returns November 6 and 7, with this year's theme, "A Toast to World Peace."

The festival takes place at the El Paso Convention Center in Downtown El Paso, with two different events happening throughout the weekend:

Friday, November 6: Chef Showdown from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 7: Grand Tasting from 1 to 4 p.m.

The festival is organized by the Rotary Club of El Paso, with proceeds supporting local charitable initiatives. So there's a little extra meaning behind all that sipping and sampling!

El Paso Wine Fest Returns With Over 400 Wines

Now, let's get to the wine!

Saturday's Grand Tasting is where wine lovers can explore more than 400 wines from around the world while enjoying bites from El Paso restaurants.

That's a whole lot of wine, and probably a good opportunity to discover a new favorite. Personally, I'd be interested in seeing just how many different wines I could try before finding one I absolutely love!

And since there's food involved, you won't have to do all that wine tasting on an empty stomach.

El Paso Wine Fest Is Bringing the Food Too

Wine might be the main attraction, but the food deserves some attention, too!

The festival kicks off Friday with a Chef Showdown featuring 12 culinary teams from the Culinary Institute by Southwest University. They'll compete by creating dishes paired with craft beers and premium wines.

Then on Saturday, the Grand Tasting brings together wines from around the world and bites from local restaurants.

It's a fun way to explore different flavors while getting a taste of what El Paso's food scene has to offer.

Tickets and additional event information are available on the official El Paso Wine & Food Festival website.

Whether you're going for the wine, the food, or just an excuse to spend an afternoon with friends, it's nice to know El Paso has an entire festival dedicated to two things that go pretty well together!
