Not only did they bring us what may well be the best freakin' show of 2019, they also dropped some major cash.

Metallica try to do some good in every city they play and over the years, have helped a number of charities and organizations. While they were here in El Paso, they turned their attention to helping the hungry here in the Borderland.  A portion of every ticket sold to last nights sold out Metallica concert was donated to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

The group posted this on Facebook:

The final leg of Metallica’s North American WorldWired Tour kicks off tonight in El Paso. A portion of every ticket sold for #MetInElPaso will support the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank in their efforts to serve children, single parent households, veterans, senior citizens, and working class families because no one should go hungry. #MetallicaGivesBack #AWMH

The donation amount? $10 - Freakin' - Grand!!

Way to go Metallica! Props to you for being the biggest metal band ever and absolutely one of the most generous!!  By the way, they did something else pretty cool for us. If you want a copy of last nights entire show, (free on MP3!!), click here.
