The band are known for their generosity and giving spirits. They even donated a ton of money to an El Paso cause directly when they played here back in 2019.

Metallica, throughout the entire pandemic, have been finding innovative ways to raise money for their All Within My Hands Foundation including releasing never before seen live performance from all over the world and from every era of their career during their "Metallica Mondays" concert series. All of the money raised for the All Within My Hands Foundation has been earmarked for many different pandemic related causes including the American Association of Community Colleges, Feeding America,  Direct ReliefCrew Nation, the USBG Foundation and many others. They do their own part as well. For example, while in El Paso in February of 2019, the guys took time from their crazy busy day to hand-deliver $10,000 to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

Now, they have decided to hold an online, acoustic performance and auction to raise even more money for the various causes. This event will take place on Saturday, November 14th and you will need a ticket to see it. All proceeds will, of course, go to the All Within My Hands beneficiaries.

According to a press release:

Ticket holders can enjoy multiple replays up to 48 hours from when they first start the stream. Further information on ticket sales, VIP packages, bundles etc. can be found at 2nu.gs/Metallica. Ticket sales will directly benefit the foundation.

More info on what items will be auctioned and what "experiences" will be on the block will be announced as November 14th grows closer. To date, All Within My Hands has raised over half a million dollars for the cause(s) and every cent has gone to the charities. Learn more here.
