One of the things I enjoy about a new year are the new releases of movies, video games & music. 2022 will see a ton of new albums coming out & that applies to some of our very own bands in the El Paso music scene as well:

Coming out later this week The 1-800 will release their debut EP "Do You Remember The First Time It Felt Like This" on January 7th. The band has been extremely busy last year recording in El Paso & Los Angeles and the synth pop-rock band will be putting out their 5 song album on Friday:

The Punk/metalcore band Father Wolf will release THEIR debut EP "Chapter I" next Friday, January 14th. You might have heard their debut single "Lazaretto" on Q Connected but if not, you can hear it for yourself down below:

Metalcore rockers Collide the Gemini will release their debut EP "Dioscuri" on the 14th as well.

Indie/Americana rockers Gila Monster will be releasing their first new song since 2019 on January 28th & they plan on having a show at Love Buzz on the same date. The band appeared on El Paso PBS's Sound On Tap & you can see some of the songs from that performance down below.

And Finally, the metal band Fusebox was recording their debut album in Houston last year & "New Earth", the new album, will also be dropping on January 28th. You can hear their latest single "Demon Melody" on Q Connected & down below:
