Is El Paso Getting a Del Taco? This Website Says Yes
For whatever reason, Del Taco did not make it in El Paso. That's right, once upon a time, not too long ago, we had a Del Taco in El Paso! It was on the West side and a Starbucks now stands where it once stood. I miss that Del Taco.
Earlier this morning on the show, we were talking about fast food places with great service, and we mentioned places that El Paso doesn't have like Panera, P. Terry's and of course Del Taco. Well, I received a message from someone who says that Truth or Consequences, which is about an hour and 45 minutes away, just opened up a Del Taco- this message also said that El Paso would be getting one soon, on the West side.
Immediately, I did some research and the very first result I got was this website called menuwithprice.com, and they immediately gave me a result of ONE Del Taco in El Paso. The location of this supposed Del Taco? 7411 Remcon- that's right, on the West side!
There was no other information.
Considering this location is actually a hot spot for new stores and restaurants- it's pretty believable, right? But there isn't any other information, and looking at the Del Taco website, while they do confirm that the location in Truth or Consequences did open, there was no other mention a new opening.
But we can still hope! Not too long ago, I wrote about how El Paso should bring back Del Taco, we're getting some new food places like El Pollo Loco, Dutch Bros. and Slim Chickens, why not throw a Del Taco into the ring?
