Dutch Bros. has officially opened... in Las Cruces! The Oregon based coffee chain opened up on Thursday, June 17 to a great turnout. Check out these great pictures from photojournalist Nathan Fish.

The grand opening was a huge success, but it kind of gave a lot of El Pasoans some FOMO.

However, worry not, my fellow El Pasoans, if you feel like the 45 minute drive to the city of crosses is too much, you'll just have to wait a little while longer. Dutch Bros. will be setting up shop in El Paso sometime this fall- perfect timing for some PSL's!

According to Mike Martinez, from our sister station Kiss FM, online documents show the company plans to open at the new Eastlake Marketplace this fall. Details are limited as plans are in the early stages, but records show construction of its first El Paso location is expected to begin in soon with a target completion date of mid-September.

If you're willing to take some trips, the Dutch Bros. in Las Cruces is located at 3550 Bataan Memorial E. There's also one in College Station. New Mexico does have a few others, with two in Albuquerque, but that seems like too long a trip just to experience a Dutch Bros drink. Luckily, with Las Cruces a mere 45 minutes away, I'm willing to make a day trip out of it! However, I'll probably wait a while, because we all know how it can get when something first opens- a never ending line!

Perusing through the Dutch Bros Coffee menu- I can already tell what I'll be ordering first- a "Cocomo" which is described as a coconut mocha. Their energy drinks and Dutch sodas also sound amazing! Check out their full menu here to find out what you would order from one of their "Broistas". After watching this video, I'm convinced that I'll definitely be making a trip to Las Cruces soon, before the opening of the El Paso one, to get my hands on some Dutch Bros Coffee!
