Despite UTEP being pretty awful at football the past... well... long time, they have still produced some NFL caliber talent. Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers probably gets the most recognition because he's the one scoring the touchdowns. He's the one people have on their fantasy team. Heck, Aaron Jones helped me win my fantasy league last year.

But let's not forget about Will Hernandez, who was selected by the New York Football Giants in the second round of the 2018 draft. He was almost a first rounder as well, being taken with the second pick of the second round. Since Hernandez has been with the Giants, he's been a rock on the offensive line, starting all 33 games he's played in. That streak might be in jeopardy though as Hernandez has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for the virus. It's the first known positive for the Giants and since the test came back positive, Hernandez has been isolated from the rest of the team.

The NFL rules and regulations are a bit difficult to understand when it comes to contact tracing, but eight players and two coaches have been told to stay home after having recent contact with Hernandez. They aren't considered high risks however, so they could return to the team shortly. The Giants next game is coming up on Monday against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it appears Hernandez will miss the first game of his professional career.
