El Paso's nature can truly be a thing of beauty sometimes. People might not care for the desert landscape but it has its charms. One of the biggest pros of living in the desert is the view of the Sun. One photo in particular has people talking a lot on social media.

The Real Fit Fam El Paso posted this amazing photo of the sun's halo, originally taken by IG user "eljavis_300"

Sun halos are NOT a rare occurrence, they're actually quite common. They still do make for a beautiful shot.

However the best part, are the comments on this photo. And boy people were eager to post their comments:

"This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call…The Twilight Zone." - anthonykvella

"This is a sign, that the Cowboys will win a super bowl ring this season" - hectorsuave

"Pinche spirit bomb" - fredo.faded

"This is what happens when you vape" - sxnti.28

"Who gave the sun my Dunkin Donuts iced coffee?" - k5_amusement_rides

One comment in particular even went into more detail on this phenomenon:

"I've only ever known it to be called a "Sun dog"..."also called mock sun or parhelion, atmospheric optical phenomenon appearing in the sky as luminous spots 22° on each side of the Sun and at the same elevation as the Sun. Usually, the edges closest to the Sun will appear reddish." - mrsmandie

I'll be honest... maybe we should all be calling it a "sun dog" from now on...

But there's an explanation behind a "sun halo". Many spiritual believers thought that sun halos

However scientists have explained that whenever a sun halo (or moon halo) forms, it usually means that rain is not too far off. And since this was posted on Thursday and we actually got RAIN over the weekend... they might be right.

Nevertheless... whenever I see funny comments like that, you can't help but read them.
