The El Paso Borderland Roller Derby Girls Announce 2024 Season

The El Paso Borderland Roller Derby (formerly the Sun City Roller Girls) has been a fan favorite for years; they've held their games for years at the El Paso County Coliseum, 4100 N Paisano. I've been lucky enough to even play one of the halftime shows in 2016; I was drumming for Hot Shot Kixxx at the time.

Amazingly my drum set & my band's equipment can be seen on the stage in a video showing clips from that very season from Mystique Magazine.

After having a great 2023 season, The Borderland Roller Derby Girls are ready to have another season they have a line of dates lasting through the Spring, Summer & Fall of 2024.

When will the Borderland Roller Derby Girls have their games in 2024?

Officially they already kicked off their season on March 24th; it was the Easter Bunnie Baddies vs Saint Patties Bratties with the local band, Beyond Venus, performing during the halftime show.

However, yesterday the team announced the rest of the dates for the 2024 season on Facebook. They will have a total of 7 additional games between April 28th all the way until October 13th. The April 28th game will be The Sexecutioners taking on Las Viudas Negras.

The Borderland Roller Girls also posted information for any local vendors who would like to be part of any of the games for the 2024 season, as well as how/where to purchase your tickets & where the after party is held after the games.
