Today it was announced that Interpol will be returning to El Paso, Texas for 2024; they will be playing the El Paso County Coliseum in May. Well they aren’t the only bands playing the Coliseum in 2024; both Lamb of GodMastodon will be playing there this year. AND… they’re bringing some friends along too.

When are Lamb of God & Mastodon coming to El Paso for 2024?

Earlier this morning the two metal giants announced their 2024 North American tour dates; Lamb of God & Mastodon will be kicking off their Ashes of Leviathan Tour to celebrate 20 years of Lamb of God's Ashes of the Wake album & Mastodon's Leviathan album.

The tour starts on July 19 in Grand Prairie, Texas, all the way to August 31 in Omaha, Nebraska. During that tour, on August 25th, El Paso is listed on the poster at the El Paso County Coliseum.

But they're not the only bands on the Ashes of Leviathan Tour; Malevolence & Kerry King from Slayer will be the supporting acts. The last time El Paso saw Kerry King perform was during Slayer's farewell tour at the Don Haskins Center in 2019. So it'll be nice to see a familiar trash legend again after 5 years.

El Paso is no stranger to seeing Lamb of God give one hell of a show; we've seen them 7 times prior dating all the way back to 2003. Mastodon & Malevolence, however, have never BEEN to El Paso. This will be both bands' first time in El Paso; I'm sure both bands want to make a good first impression.

The tickets for the tour go on sale Friday morning at 10am with VIP packages available on the Ashes of Leviathan website.
