Interpol Returns to El Paso With Help From EP's Late Night Drive

It was announced earlier today that the New York indie rock band Interpol will return to El Paso, Texas for 2024. But the other big surprise in regards to that show is who's opening up FOR Interpol; another fellow indie rock band. This time it's El Paso's own Late Night Drive Home.

When is Interpol playing El Paso, Texas in 2024?

Tuesday May 7th, Interpol will be performing at the El Paso County Coliseum. This is actually the 2nd time time in 2 years that the New York rockers will have been to El Paso; they finally came here for the first time on September 11, 2022. They also came to Juarez, Mexico last year in February.

If you're like me and you missed Interpol in 2022 because it was the same date as the Iron Maiden concert, now we have another chance to see them.

The other two artists playing the May 7th show are the Argentinian indie rock band El Mató a un Policía Motorizado. They recently celebrated 20 years as a band back in 2003.

& as I've mentioned before, El Paso's Late Night Drive Home. This isn't the only time that Late Night Drive Home will open up for Interpol in 2024; both bands are set to play the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on May 3rd & the Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 12.

Considering LNDH has only been around since 2021, this is certainly an achievement for the young El Paso band. You can hear the interview we did with the band back in 2023 before their, at the time, biggest homecoming show at The Plaza Theater.

The tickets go on sale this Friday morning through Livenation at 10am; presale starts on Wednesday at 10am.
